SJ Kitchens Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SJ Kitchens ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our website and engaging with our services. By accessing this website or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.

1. General Terms
By booking consultations, purchasing products, or otherwise interacting with SJ Kitchens, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the website and our services, including customers, browsers, and suppliers.

2. Consultations & Design Services
We offer free consultations, either in-home or via phone. While we strive to provide the most accurate design suggestions, our recommendations are based on the information provided by you. We cannot be held liable for design errors resulting from inaccurate measurements or information provided by the client.

3. Orders & Payments
Once a design and quotation are agreed upon, the following terms apply to all orders:

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order.

• The remaining balance will be paid in stages based on product delivery schedules.

• The remaining balance must be paid in full once the installation has been completed.

• We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other payment methods specified on our website.

4. Cancellations & Modifications
You may cancel or modify your order under the following conditions:

• Orders may be canceled within 7 days of the deposit payment for a full refund.

• After 7 days, cancellations may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

• Any modifications to your order must be submitted in writing and are subject to additional charges depending on the scope of the change.

• No alterations on ‘made to measure’ products once the deposit has been taken.

5. Installation & Delivery
We will make every effort to meet the agreed-upon delivery and installation dates. However, delivery and installation timelines are estimates and may be affected by unforeseen factors, such as weather conditions or supply chain disruptions. We are not liable for any delays beyond our control but will communicate any changes as soon as possible.

• The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is ready for installation (e.g., adequate space, access, utilities in place). Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

• Installation is considered complete when the kitchen is ready for use. Any issues or defects must be reported within 3 days of completion.

6. Warranty & Liability
We provide a 12 month warranty on all kitchens installed by SJ Kitchens, covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

• Any unauthorized alterations or repairs

Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods and services. We shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services.

7. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, and materials provided on this website or in relation to our services, including but not limited to images, text, logos, and graphics, are the intellectual property of SJ Kitchens unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials without prior written consent.

8. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our website, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Links

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of United Kingdom.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the bottom will be updated. Your continued use of our website or services after any modifications indicate your acceptance of the new terms.
